I feel panicked wearing itUpdated 15 days ago
Some users experience mild anxiety the first few nights.
This is usually due to:
• Feeling resistance while exhaling
• Being hyper-aware of breathing
• Trying something new during sleep
What to do:
• Start at the lowest Snore Strength (Setting 1)
• Wear it for short periods while awake
• Practice calm nasal breathing
• Ensure the valve is not stuck down in the "closed" position (take a big inhale and ensure the valve is opening)
Most users acclimate within 30 nights.
For some people, the EPAP resistance can feel too strong, even on the lowest setting. If that’s the case, you can remove the EPAP dials completely and use SnoreBuds purely as a nasal dilator. This eliminates the resistance but still keeps the nasal passages open, which for many people is enough to reduce snoring.
Here’s how to do it:
- Hold the device firmly.
- Pull out the white dials from the tubes (which also contains the EPAP valves).
- Once removed, air will flow freely through the tubes.
