Both SnoreBuds and BongoRx are nasal EPAP solutions, but there are key differences in design, comfort, adjustability, intended use, and functionality.

How Bongorx Works

BongoRx uses a fixed resistance nasal valve that provides expiratory back pressure during exhalation to help reduce mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. 

It requires that you have a sleep study, diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea, and a prescription.

It often requires the user to wear a head strap to hold the device in place.

How SnoreBuds Is Different

• Adjustable Snore Strength
SnoreBuds includes four strength levels so you can personalize resistance for comfort and effectiveness. BongoRx devices do not have adjustable resistance.

• Nasal dilation + EPAP
SnoreBuds combines internal nasal dilation with EPAP. This helps open the nasal passages and stabilize the airway. The nasal dilator functionality secures the device in place without the need for a headstrap.

• Available without prescription
SnoreBuds is not intended for snoring, not sleep apnea, and therefore does not require a sleep study or prescription.
