Can I use SnoreSealer if I have TMJ pain or jaw locking?Updated 2 months ago
In most cases, yes — but consult your dentist or physician if you have significant TMJ symptoms.
Important Difference
Unlike mandibular repositioning devices, SnoreSealer:
• Does not hold the jaw forward
• Does not apply force to the TMJ
• Does not alter bite position
Because it allows the jaw to rest naturally, it is generally lower risk for TMJ compared to jaw-advancing devices.
If you have severe TMJ dysfunction or jaw locking, consult your provider before use.
